Cameron Beaubier won his third MotoAmerica Superbike Championship in 2018 and he did so with a dominating mid-to-late season run that saw him win his eight races in the last 14 races. Ironically, his eight wins matched the win total of his two other championship-winning seasons in 2015 and 2016.
The 26 year old stood on the podium 17 times in 2018 and earned a total of 390 points.
Going into the 2019 season, Beaubier has amassed 32 AMA Superbike wins, a number that puts him third on the all-time list and in a tie with legendary Miguel Duhamel. The Californian will start the 2019 season as the odds-on favorite, having won titles in three of the four MotoAmerica seasons.
