Motul is one of the leading motorcycle oil companies and has been around for over 150 years. Motul started doing their special Ester technology over 30 years ago and as you see today, many competitors have also recently switched to Ester technology. Motul’s 300V contains a double ester – one ester for friction rubbing and another ester for pressure. The end result is excellent protection without sacrificing performance. Motul’s 300V offers the best race performance and protection, as it has an extremely high boiling point of 367 degrees. With Motul’s ester technology, you have four to five times more film and tensile strength in your oil compared to other brands, which means cheap insurance for your engine. With Motul, you get the best of both worlds with excellent performance and protection.
Since 1950 when Mr. Arai was a young man riding his motorcycle, there were no helmet manufacturers in Japan. And as Japan was a closed market, it was very difficult to obtain a proper helmet. Knowing the risks of riding motorcycles firsthand, Mr. Arai knew he wanted a good helmet for his own protection.
Arai is still a small, family-owned company driven by the same mission through three generations—three generations of riders. We at Arai are motorcycle enthusiasts. We ride. We build each Arai helmet as if we’re creating it for one of our own—a brother, a father, a husband, a mother, a sister.

To think it all started with a pile of helmets. SportbikeTrackGear.com began as a part time pursuit to help fund a club-racing and track-riding habit, but it’s turned into something much bigger than that. Monte Lutz, the former owner of Sportbiketracktime.com, had made a bulk purchase of closeout helmets and asked Brian Van if he could help get them sold. In just a few months time, Van saw the long-term potential to do something he loved each and every day and left his career as a dealership technician to start STG. Sixteen years later, STG is proud to be the title sponsor for the MotoAmerica Junior Cup class with the added bonus that Marcine and Brian Van’s son, Max, will be racing in the SportbikeTrackGear.com Junior
Cup in 2021.
