Only four racers have completed the Grand Slam in AMA racing – victories in all four disciplines of flat track (mile, half mile, short track and TT) and a National road race – and one of those is Doug Chandler. Chandler is a three-time AMA Superbike Champion, a podium finisher in 500cc Grand Prix racing and, most recently, both the rider representative and the race director for MotoAmerica. Carruthers and Bice caught up with Chandler on this week’s Off Track podcast to discuss his road racing career and life after racing.
