The following is from HONOS HVMC Racing…
Performance gear and fashion apparel brand WE ARE HONOS® and New York-based dealership Hudson Valley Motorcycles (HVMC) are excited to announce the formation of the HONOS HVMC Racing team for the 2021 MotoAmerica season.
The HONOS HVMC Racing team will pursue championships in the Supersport, Stock 1000, and Superbike Cup classes. This new partnership allows for better utilization of technical and logistical resources, while offering a more substantial presence in the series both on and off the racetrack.
Similar to the 2020 season, the team will continue to utilize Graves Motorsports technical staff, resources, and expertise to harness the strongest-performing Kawasaki machinery in the MotoAmerica paddock.
Flying the flag for the WE ARE HONOS® apparel and gear brand in the Supersport class will be Richie Escalante defending his #1 plate aboard his Graves-spec Kawasaki ZX-6R. Richie will be representing personal sponsors HJC Helmets, Vircos Leathers, Alpinestars, Fresh N’ Lean, Electrolit, Royal Assets, 5ta Raiz, and Strats & Legal. Additionally, Jorge Ehrenstein will make select wildcard entries throughout the 2021 calendar in the Supersport class.
In the Stock 1000 and Superbike Cup classes, Corey Alexander will represent his family-owned, New York-based dealership Hudson Valley Motorcycles aboard a Graves-spec Kawasaki ZX-10RR. Corey will continue to represent personal sponsors Tucker, Optimum Support Group, Prestige Services Group, FA Madden Painting LLC, Freeman Racing, Four3 Performance Lab, FTA Embroidery, Ikoniqa, and Gemini Racing.
When asked about the newly found partnership, the WE ARE HONOS® leadership team commented, “We are truly excited to partner with HVMC and Graves, it makes sense with the relationship we have established over the past couple of years. This also gives us an opportunity to expand our team into other categories with a great talent in Corey Alexander.”
Hudson Valley Motorcycles general manager Richie Alexander also added, “After working closely with the HONOS team and Graves Motorsports last year, it only made sense that we combine as one for the 2021 season. With HVMC’s long history in racing and HONOS’ passion for motorsports, I’m excited to build on what was a tremendously successful season for both sides of the team.”
