The following is from BARTCON Racing…
Nineteen-year-old South African racer and current Liqui Moly Junior Cup title contender Dominic Doyle will showcase his skills this weekend in the Twins Cup races at New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP). Doyle will compete in both the Junior Cup and the Twins Cup classes in New Jersey.
Robem Engineering and BARTCON Racing have been discussing the prospect of Doyle riding a Robem Engineering Suzuki SV650, and the opportunity has arisen. Robem Engineering racer Dr. Carl Price, a longtime supporter of many up-and-coming young road racers, has decided to take a one-round break and sit out the New Jersey round, thus allowing Dominic Doyle to fill his seat. Doyle will join Robem Engineering’s Jackson Blackmon and Toby Khamsouk as the trio of young guns strives to sweep the Twins Cup podium at NJMP.
BARTCON Racing team owner Colin Barton commented, “When I got the call from Matt Spicer about giving Dom the opportunity to ride Carl’s bike at our home race at NJMP, I didn’t hesitate to accept the offer. Robem Engineering is a solid team, and I look forward to seeing Dom mixing it up with Jackson and Toby.”
