American Racing\u2019s Cameron Beaubier came through from 25^{th<\/sup> on the grid to finish 10^{th<\/sup> in today\u2019s German Moto2 Grand Prix, the Californian earning six championship points for his efforts at the Sachsenring.<\/p>}}
While it was a good day for Beaubier, it was a difficult one for fellow MotoAmerican Joe Roberts with the Italtrans Racing rider crashing out of the battle for eighth on the final lap of the race.<\/p>
Beaubier, who started on the ninth row of the grid, got a good start and immediately began slicing his way through the field. He was 21^{st<\/sup> on the opening lap, moved into 14^{th<\/sup> on lap eight, 13^{th<\/sup> on lap 14, and he stayed there until the race started to unravel for a few of those ahead of him, including Roberts, on the final lap. When all was said and done, Beaubier crossed the line in 10^{th<\/sup> \u2013 some five seconds behind his teammate Marcos Ramirez and just ahead of Federal Oil Gresini\u2019s Nicolo Bulega.<\/p>}}}}
The race was won by World Championship points leader Remy Gardner, the Aussie and his Red Bull KTM Ajo Kalex dominating from start to finish and finishing 6.1 seconds clear of Aspar Team Moto2\u2019s Aron Canet. Sky Racing VR46\u2019s Marco Bezzecchi rounded out the podium.<\/p>
Gardner is now 36 points clear of his teammate Raul Fernandez with the Spaniard crashing out of the battle for the lead early in the race. Roberts is now eighth in the title chase with Beaubier 15^{th<\/sup>.<\/p>}
