For 2017 MotoAmerica Superstock 600 Champion Jason Aguilar, his 2019 MotoAmerica Supersport season got off to a slow start after he was hampered by injuries suffered in a crash during the Daytona 200. Aguilar started the season with a different crew chief, but now that he is reunited with Poncho Rangel, the crew chief he had when he won his championship, he’s hoping that the second half of his season is better than the first. A long-time Yamaha rider, Aguilar’s bikes are always among the nicest-looking in the MotoAmerica paddock. He always manages to come up with head-turning design schemes that are distinctive yet also incorporate Yamaha’s traditional “strobe-effect” racing brand language.
