TopPro Racing has officially announced that it has signed 17-year-old Avery Dreher to compete in the 2024 BellissiMoto Twins Cup Championship aboard an Aprilia RS 660. The announcement was made by Alex Arango, team owner of TopPro Racing.
Dreher’s passion for motorcycle racing started when he was nine years old. He jumped on a Honda CRF50 and started racing in the South Florida MiniGP series. From that point on, all he wanted to do was race, and he began chasing his dream of competing on two wheels at the highest levels while working his way up through different races classes until he turned pro.
In 2021, Dreher started racing in MotoAmerica’s Junior Cup class, and then, with just one season under his belt, his determination and grit led him to his first pole position and podium result in the 2022 Junior Cup Championship. Last year was Dreher’s breakthrough season in MotoAmerica. He had all the tools and experience necessary to notch 6 victories and 8 podiums in 12 races, which made him the 2023 Junior Cup Championship.
“I’m stoked to be joining TopPro Racing for the 2024 MotoAmerica Twins Cup Championship,” Dreher said. “I’m excited to have this opportunity and look forward to competing against the next level of talent in Twins Cup. I’m confident that TopPro Racing will give me a bike I can win on or compete for podiums at every round. This is another important step towards my future growth in the MotoAmerica paddock.”
TopPro Racing team owner Arango added: “We have known Avery since he was 13 years old and have watched him evolve into the caliber of rider he is today. We are going to continue to build on this and hopefully guide him to another championship.”
The 2023 BellissiMoto Twins Cup Championship starts at Daytona International Speedway on March 7 through 9.
