Estenson Racing Yamaha’s Dallas Daniels, who competed in MotoAmerica’s Twins Cup Championship at New Jersey Motorsports Park last September and is currently leading the Progressive American Flat Track SuperTwins Championship, suffered a fractured femur while training for this weekend’s 77th running of the Peoria TT.

As a result, Tytlers Cycle Racing BMW Superbike rider JD Beach will fill in for Daniels at Peoria and attempt to win the iconic race for the fourth consecutive year.

Beach received special permission from Tytlers Cycle team owner Michael Kiley to race for Estenson in place of Daniels. One of America’s most versatile racers, Beach has won Mission SuperTwins and MotoAmerica Superbike races alike, and he will try to extend his winning streak at Peoria to four in a row.

“First and foremost, I’m heartbroken for Dallas and the Estenson team,” Beach said. “I’ve been lucky enough to have been around Dallas quite a bit since he was 15. We have trained together a lot and traveled together. I want to thank the Tytlers Cycle Racing team for letting me help my old team out and help field the bike at the TT. Peoria has been a track I’ve enjoyed and have been successful at. I’m going to give it my all.”

Daniels has already undergone successful surgery, and he is hopeful to return to action as soon as possible. His recovery process will be closely monitored and news of his return to racing action will be announced at a later date.
