By Garrett Gerloff’s standards, his rookie season of MotoAmerica Superbike racing last year wasn’t good enough. For the rest of us, it was pretty damn good. Gerloff didn’t win a race and he never sat on pole position, two of his goals going into last year. But he did finish on the podium – five times – with two second-place finshes.
The two-time MotoAmerica Supersport Champion will have that to build on as he starts his sophomore season in the EBC Brakes Superbike class in 2019. After all, the knows how to win. The young Texan won 19 Supersport races in his three years in MotoAmerica.
