A second-generation road racer from South Africa, Cameron Petersen will start his second full season of racing in the EBC Brakes Superbike class and he’ll do so on a different team and on a different motorcycle.
After completing his rookie season of Superbike racing on the now defunct Broaster Genuine Chicken Honda team, Petersen moves to the Omega Moto team where he will ride a Yamaha YZF-R1. Last year, Petersen finished 12th on the Honda CBR1000RR in the championship point standings.
Petersen has tasted MotoAmerica success as he’s a former winner in the Supersport class.
