All of us at MotoAmerica offer our hearfelt condolences to the family and friends of Stock 1000 racer Chyler “Kyle” Weatherford on his recent passing.

A long-time road racer who competed in numerous racing organizations, including the American Superbike Racing Association (ASRA), WERA Motorcycle Roadracing, PanAmerican SuperBike, and others, Weatherford was the 2021 AMA Road Race Grand Championship Amateur Road Racer of the Year. He joined MotoAmerica’s Stock 1000 Championship this past season and competed at both Brainerd International Raceway and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

Weatherford passed away on November 16 from fatal injuries suffered in a car accident. He is survived by his father Bruce Weatherford Jr.,; his mother LeaAnn Cheung O’Donnell; his son Joshua Weatherford; his brother Bruce A. Weatherford; and his sisters Dollie Rocha, Tammy Fierce, and Helen Carbajal.
