American Max Toth will compete once again in the FIM JuniorGP Moto2 World Championship.

MotoAmerica rider Max Toth, who has been rapidly advancing his career internationally over the past couple of years, has signed to ride for Cardoso-Fantic Racing in the 2025 FIM JuniorGP Moto2 World Championship. Cardoso-Fantic Racing is affiliated with the Fantic Moto2 World Championship team, so 19-year-old Toth may also be given the opportunity to race as a wildcard entry in selected Moto2 World Championship rounds.

Cardoso-Fantic Racing is owned by former MotoGP racer and multi-time Spanish national champion José Luis Cardoso.

“I’m immensely excited to begin this next Moto2 season working with Cardoso-Fantic Racing,” Toth said. “The team’s project is proven to be absolutely top of the line, and I can’t wait to get acquainted with the new crew and bike. Massive thank you to José Luis Cardoso for the opportunity, and to all my family and supporters for their continued help. I’m already itching to get on the bike!”

Toth raced for the AGR Team in the 2024 FIM JuniorGP Moto2 World Championship, and he is also a former MotoAmerica Junior Cup race winner and Twins Cup podium finisher. In addition, Toth was one of the eight riders selected to represent the North America Continental Union in the 2024 City of Jerez FIM Intercontinental Games that took place at Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto this past November, where he was the top-finishing American rider at the Games.

He’ll join fellow former MotoAmerica rider Rossi Moor on the FIM JuniorGP Moto2 race grid, who, as previously announced, signed a deal to race with Team MMR.

The 2025 FIM JuniorGP Championship will consist of seven rounds with a total of 10 races in the Moto2 category. The first round will take place in Estoril, Portugal on May 2 through 5.
