Round one of the FIM Women’s Motorcycling World Championship is this weekend at Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli” in Italy, and MotoAmerica rider Mallory Dobbs is one of an elite group of women road racers from around the world to be selected as one of the series’ riders.
Dobbs, who hails from Olympia, Washington, had a couple of technical issues with her Sekhmet Racing Yamaha YZF-R7 today, but it didn’t remove the smile from her face, and she already has an adventure to tell in the early going at Misano.
Look for Dobbs to return to the MotoAmerica series at her home track of Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, Washington, on June 28 through 30, where she will race a Ducati Hypermotard for Diva Racing at round two of the Mission Super Hooligan National Championship.
