Kyle Wyman Racing Running On All Cylinders For Mazda Raceway

Kyle Wyman

The Millennium Technologies-sponsored Kyle Wyman Racing team will be firing on all cylinders this weekend for the seventh round of the MotoAmerica road racing series at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. All three brothers will be competing again in their respective classes.

Oldest brother Kyle, fresh off a one-day test at Miller Motorsports Park, is back to full fitness and ready to take on the famed Corkscrew in front of the world stage, as MotoAmerica riders will share the event weekend with the FIM World Superbike Championship.

“I’m really excited to get to Laguna this weekend,” Kyle said. “We just tested again at Miller this week and made more progress on my Millennium Technologies Yamaha. I am fully healed from the bicycle wreck and feel like we have our best shot of the season to break into the top five.”

As Kyle competes in the Supersport category, younger brothers Travis and Cody will compete in Superstock 600 aboard their Yamahas. Each class will have only one race this weekend.

“I’m really looking forward to getting Laguna under way,” Travis said. “It’s a track I feel fairly comfortable at. My team has worked really hard to get me this far, and it’s time to bounce back and get on the podium!”

Cody, who is competing in a limited schedule, will ride at Laguna Seca for the first time.

“It feels awesome to have gotten back on the bike this past weekend at Miller,” Cody said. “We’ve really got to maximize our track time early on to learn the course and get a good setup for the race. I’ve dreamed about racing Laguna Seca and I’m stoked to finally be able to.”

Action starts Friday morning, July 17, at 8:30 AM PST when the Superstock 600 class hits the track for first practice. All of the action can be viewed LIVE on Fanschoice.tv for video coverage.
