You’ve seen the disclaimers used in most motorcycle ads that go something like this: “Professional rider on a closed course.” Well, for Harley-Davidson’s video introducing the 2024 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide ST, they needed an entire wall of text for a disclaimer, which you can read at the beginning of the breathtaking creation.

As the video caption on YouTube further explains, “When King of the Baggers teammates Kyle Wyman and James Rispoli find themselves on a closed course with the all-new, race-engineered CVO Road Glide ST motorcycle, good ol’-fashioned street hooliganism ensues.” Truth is, I haven’t seen that kind of “holy crap, look at that” action in a motorcycle commercial or video since Honda fishtailed a Valkyrie through the desert or when Yamaha had Kenny Roberts dirt-track a Yamaha Bolt around his ranch.

According to The Motor Company’s press releasse that accompanied the video, “Commemorating the 25th anniversary of Custom Vehicle Operations, the new CVO™ Road Glide® ST model takes hot-rod bagger performance to the next level with racing-inspired, high- performance suspension and brakes, and a potent new Milwaukee-Eight® 121 HO engine, and low final drive ratio that combine to produce the kind of acceleration and mid-range thrust aggressive riders crave.”

What that means, dear MotoAmerica fan, is that Harley-Davidson just released a touring model that is their closest thing yet to the H-D Screamin’ Eagle Road Glide Specials that Kyle Wyman and James Rispoli race in the MotoAmerica Mission King Of The Baggers Championship.

And, if that weren’t enough to get your juices flowing, for those fans who are also fond of MAD Magazine’s brilliant “Spy vs. Spy” comics series, the world is equally black-and-white–or is it white-and-black?–for Wyman and Rispoli.

You’ll see what I mean when you check out the video playing now on YouTube.
