New Englander Eli Block has decided to make the most of MotoAmerica’s final round of the season at New Jersey Motorsports Park on September 27 through 29.

Block, who is from Middlefield, Connecticut, will be aboard his BARTCON Racing Kawasaki in Junior Cup at NJMP, but he will also make his MotoAmerica Supersport debut in the saddle of his BARTCON Racing Powered By Built By Block Yamaha YZF-R6.

“I’m beyond excited to finally move up and try out the Supersport class,” Block said. “I have no expectations for my first MotoAmerica weekend on middleweight machinery due to how stacked the class is, and also due to the fact that NJMP is known for all different types of conditions. I’m going to just go out there and give it my all. Being that this has been my first full MotoAmerica season, and filled with all the ups and downs of being a rookie in the series, I think racing in both Junior Cup and Supersport at the final round is kind of like a little season-ending reward to myself. The main plan is just to have fun.”

Block added that he is actively seeking more support for his Supersport debut at New Jersey.
