“I’m excited for this opportunity and to be back on the Junior Cup grid,” commented Newton. “The competition this year is tough, and I am looking forward to seeing what I can do. Big thanks to the Altus team and also to Robb at Moto Talbott for helping to make this happen.”

“Jay has been on our radar for years,” Altus Motorsports team owner George Nassaney said. “We’ve wanted to put something together for a while, but it never seemed to quite work out. When we found out that Daniel wasn’t going to be able to ride, we reached out to see if Jay would be up for it. I’m excited to see him back on the track at the national level and glad we can be a part of it.”
