Jamie Hacking For VIR Lap Of Honor

Dunlop has announced that it will host Jamie Hacking at the MotoAmerica race at VIRginia International Raceway, May 15-17, during the third round of the MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship. Hacking, a three-time AMA champion, will ride a lap of honor on Dunlop’s Yamaha R6 test bike. The South Carolinian will also be on hand throughout the weekend at the Dunlop truck to sign autographs and hang out with fans.

Hacking was one of the fiercest competitors in US road racing while riding for a variety of factory teams. He retired in 2010 after more than a decade of professional racing, which started with him winning the Rookie Of The Year honors in his first season. His career included winning three AMA Pro championships, and piling up wins in various classes: 21 in Supersport; 11 in Superstock; one in Superbike; and two in Formula Xtreme. His win total puts him ninth on the all-time win list in the US. Hacking racked up all of these accomplishments on Dunlop tires, in a career that spanned more than a decade.
