The following is from Grant Motors Racing…
Liam Grant, 15, of Boulder, Colorado, will compete aboard a Kawasaki Ninja 400 in the 2020 MotoAmerica Liqui Moly Junior Cup Championship. Liam made his MotoAmerica debut in the Liqui Moly Junior Cup Class at Utah Motorsports Campus last season and will race for the Colorado-based Grant Motors Racing team. Geoff Cesmat, who has a long history in the MotoAmerica paddock with teams including Rickdiculous Racing and Monster Energy Graves Yamaha, will serve as crew chief for the team.
Liam began road racing relatively recently, in 2017, and has since won multiple class championships aboard his Kawasaki Ninja 400 with the Chuckwalla Valley Motorcycle Association and the Utah Sport Bike Association.
“I have been working very hard to prepare for the season, and I am fortunate to be working with some very experienced and talented people including Geoff Cesmat as my crew chief and Ken Hill as my riding coach,” Liam said. “My focus during the off-season will continue to be racing with the CVMA in preparation for our first MotoAmerica round at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in April.”
Grant Motors Racing is proud to be supported by Headhaul Capital Partners LLC, Shoei, Vortex, Spears Racing, Sun Enterprises, Chickenhawk Racing, Galfer, Cycle Gear, Motorex, Racergloves USA, Motion Pro, and Ohlins Suspension.
