Americans Nathan Gouker, Ryder Davis and Joshua Raymond completed a successful three days of FIM MiniGP World Final racing in Valencia, Spain, on Thanksgiving Day with the trio showing well on race day.
In the 160cc class, Gouker raced near the front all day with his race results improving throughout the three races. In race one, Gouker was sixth, in race two he was fifth and the 12-year-old improved to fourth in the Super Final. Those three results netted him fifth overall.
The 160 class was dominated by Qabil Irfan with the Malaysian winning all three races.
Ryder Davis, 14, led the Americans in the 190cc class with sixth, seventh and sixth place finishes, which placed him fourth overall with 39 points when the results were tallied from all three races. Davis was battling for a podium finish in the final race when he crashed. He remounted to finish sixth.
Joshua Raymond, 14, also qualified for the three World Final races, and he posted 12th, 11th and 10th place finishes on the day to put him 13th overall with 21 points.
The 190cc class title was won by Spain’s Alvaro Lucas with two wins, including the double-points paying Super Final, and a fourth-place finish on the day.
