MotoAmerica, North America’s premier motorcycle road racing series, is pleased to announce that ESPN Latin America and the Star+ platform will continue to bring the MotoAmerica championship to its large audience of Spanish-speaking viewers in Latin America for the 2024 season.
ESPN Latin America began broadcasting MotoAmerica races in 2021 through its partners PTV Video Productions, which is owned and operated by former AMA Superbike racer Roberto Pietri and his partners.
“We’re happy to again be working with Roberto (Pietri) and his crew to broadcast our races in Spanish to an ever-growing fan base in Latin America,” said MotoAmerica COO Chuck Aksland. “We’re fortunate to have a lot of Latin American racers in our paddock and most of them win races and earn podium finishes in the classes in which they compete – from Superbike on down. In turn, in the three previous years working with PTV they’ve done a great job of bringing the stories of those racers to their Spanish-speaking fans.”
“We are excited to again bring all the MotoAmerica action to the fans from Latin America through ESPN Latin America and Star+,” said Pietri. “The on-track action with MotoAmerica is fantastic, and we are blessed by having several of our racers doing well in almost all the classes. The MotoAmerica series is well-received by our viewers, and we can’t wait to get to Daytona and get started with the 2024 series.”
