Steel Commander Superbike rider Sean Dylan Kelly had an idea. He’s always been a role model and big supporter of younger racers, but he wanted to do more. He wanted to give back to other parts of his community in a meaningful way that would create lasting memories for kids.

With the help of his team owner and fellow racer Alex Arango, Kelly accomplished one of his dreams. The pair of EasyHealthPlans.com/TopPro Racing riders made an appearance at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, and they brought along Kelly’s number 40 BMW M 1000 RR Superbike clad in plain, white bodywork, which provided a perfect “canvas” for the children and staff at Joe DiMaggio to create a unique, one-of-a-kind livery that will adorn Kelly’s bike at this weekend’s MotoAmerica Superbikes at Texas event at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas.

“It was honestly a pretty unreal experience,” Kelly said. “I had been wanting to do something like this for a long time, especially at the Joe DiMaggio, which is only 10 minutes from my home. Seeing all the kiddos so excited to draw and color on my bike was amazing, and all the smiles were priceless. I’m excited to have this really special and unique livery for COTA this weekend, and I no doubt have a little extra motivation to make it on the box. Thank you to my team and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital for this opportunity!”

The activity dovetailed perfectly with the hospital whose freestanding facility is uniquely inspired by and designed for kids and families. The hospital’s vibrant colors, whimsical décor, and larger-than-life murals welcome children to an upbeat environment where the “Power of Play” is a healing force. Each floor reflects an individual theme of sports, arts, games, or dreams, which inspired Kelly and Arango to tap into all the creative energy provided so freely by the kids and staff at the hospital.

So, when you’re at COTA this weekend, be sure to stop by the EasyHealthPlans.com/TopPro Racing transporter and check out the special livery on Kelly’s BMW Superbike. Plus, say hello to Kelly, Arango, and the rest of the crew.
