Quarterley Racing/On Track Development rider Dallas Daniels, who races in the Liqui Moly Junior Cup series, is wearing a special helmet this weekend at WeatherTech Raceway for the MotoAmerica Championship of Monterey.
Daniels is debuting Arai’s brand-new Corsair-X “Hayden Laguna,” which is a replica of the custom-painted Arai Corsair-X helmet that Hayden wore when he won the MotoGP race at Laguna Seca in 2005 the year prior to capturing the 2006 MotoGP World Championship.
“My family and the Hayden family have been close for years,” said Daniels. “Nicky was a big inspiration in my life and my childhood hero, so being able to wear his replica helmet is just a dream come true.”
Arai’s Corsair helmets have long been renowned as among the most advanced, highest quality helmets available anywhere in the world, and the Corsair-X is Arai’s flagship model.
