Flo4Law Racing and Superbike Unlimited have joined forces and will have a two-rider team for the 2025 MotoAmerica Championship. Benjamin Smith will be aboard a full-Superbike-spec Yamaha YZF-R1 in MotoAmerica’s premier Superbike class, while Bobby Davies will compete in the MotoAmerica Stock 1000 class, also on a Yamaha R1.

The announcement was made by Florencio “Flo” Moreno, owner of the Texas-based personal injury law firm Flo4Law and also owner of Flo4Law Racing, in conjunction with Freddy Carswell, who is the owner of Superbike Unlimited based in North Carolina and also a long-time technician in the MotoAmerica paddock. The partnership enables Flo4Law SBU Racing to make a bold impact in both the Superbike and Stock 1000 classes beginning with round one of the season at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama, on April 4 through 6.

Smith is a rising, young talent who had a strong 2024 season in Stock 1000, and he is excited to start his first full season in Superbike after racing an SBU-prepped R1 for Flo4Law Racing at Circuit of The Americas last year. Smith and the team are coming off a successful preseason test recently at Carolina Motorsports Park.

“This is the opportunity I’ve been chasing for years,” Smith commented. “The Flo4Law SBU Racing Yamaha R1 Superbike felt incredible at Carolina Motorsports Park, and the team and I are ready to compete with the best and give the fans a show.”

Davies, a key figure in Flo4Law Racing’s growth as a team over the past couple of years, will anchor the team’s Stock 1000 effort. Following a year of steady progress in 2024, Davies has himself laser-focused on the Stock 1000 title.

“Last season was about finding our rhythm, and now we’re ready to push harder,” Davies said. “Racing alongside Ben with the full support of Flo4Law SBU Racing is going to make 2025 a memorable year for all of us.”

Flo Moreno underscored the team’s passion and goals for 2025: “Ben’s earned his shot at Superbike, and Bobby’s growth has been phenomenal. Teaming up with Superbike Unlimited mirrors how we operate at Flo4Law—entering the fight only when we’re ready to take on the top dogs. We’re just getting started.”

Freddy Carswell of Superbike Unlimited added, “I’m really looking forward to the upcoming season with the Flow4Law SBU Racing team. We’ve been working very hard over the winter to bring a great Yamaha Superbike to the grid with Ben as our rider, and our recent test confirms our potential for success. It’s great to have an enthusiastic partner like Flo involved in this program. His commitment, professionalism, and enthusiasm equal our own. I would also like to add special thanks to our technical partners who have helped bring our motorcycle to the next level, including Evol Technology, Bitubo, Vortex/EK, Sprint Air Filter, and, of course, Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A..
