The following is from Lucca Allen…
The news is out! Lucca Allen will contest the 2025 MotoAmerica Motovation Supersport championship for CW Moto.
The deal, which sees Allen become the first full-time British rider to contest the series under the new “Next Generation” regulations joins the grid after a successful couple of seasons in the British GP2 Championship.
Allen is understandably delighted that his trip to watch MotoAmerica at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course has paid dividends, and he is excited to begin his new stateside adventure. He will take part in a couple of pre-season tests ahead of the season opener at Barber Motorsports Park at the beginning of April.
Lucca Allen:“I can’t thank the guys and girls at CW Moto enough for the opportunity to race for them in MotoAmerica this year. I am really looking forward to getting to know them and getting to work. I think it will be good season for us together. I have seen their set-up and how they work and from what I have seen, their bikes are always fast and extremely well prepared. This is important to me because it is my first time racing abroad and there are going to be many new things for me to get my head around. It’s a little nerve-racking heading to MotoAmerica on my own. Everything is new. The bike, the track, the tires, and I know it will be a big year of learning. My plan is to take it as it comes and build progressively. After round one, we will have an idea of where we are and the plan from there is to see steady progression throughout the season, Testing gets underway in early March, and I cannot wait. I want to thank everyone who has worked behind the scenes to make this possible. Bring on Barber Motorsports Park!”
