The MotoAmerica paddock is an eclectic community made up of athletes, technicians, mechanics, engineers, inventors, scientists, entrepreneurs, service professionals, and a whole host of other people driven by a passion for motorcycle road racing, including the talented individuals who provide creative services that promote our series.

One of those creative services people is Kelly Alred, who owns and operates Led Bull Studios. This past season, Alred worked with MotoAmerica rider Sonya Lloyd, and he recorded Lloyd’s rookie season in the Twins Cup Championship. A by-product of his work was the documentary he shot and edited, capturing Lloyd’s race weekend at Road America, in which she achieved one of her season goals: to finish in the top ten in a Twins Cup race.

Appropriately titled “TOP TEN,” the documentary was selected for screening at the PDX Motorcycle Film Festival, which takes place on January 24 through 25 at the Hollywood Theatre in Portland, Oregon. Now in its 10th year, the PDX Motorcycle Film Festival is an annual, international, non-profit motorcycle film festival that raises funds for the purchase and deployment of protective soft barriers and other safety equipment used during motorcycle events at Portland International Raceway. The Festival is hosted by the Oregon Motorcycle Road Racing Association and title-sponsored by Cascade Moto, and every show in the history of the festival has sold out. Alred will attend the festival, along with other filmmakers and race fans.
