What’s your job outside of racing?
I’m a real estate agent in Illinois. I got into that right out of high school. I was a real estate photographer while I was in high school and then I slowly got into the family business.
How does a typical race weekend look for you and who works with you on your team?
For the 2024 season, I was with Apex Manufacturing and SWG Motorsports. Richard Harris is my team owner; my pit crew chief was AJ Gustafson and then we had a few different people throughout the season. My family is also at all the MotoAmerica weekends. I get there Thursday, help the team set up and do the pit walk with somebody, usually Nolan Lamkin. Then, I strategize for practice and qualifying Friday and then go through the motions and have a blast with practice, qualifying and racing. It’s the most fun ever.
Who’s your racing hero?
My racing hero is either going to be Ricky Carmichael or Travis Pastrana. I was a dirt bike kid growing up, but road racing is definitely going to be Josh Hayes or Nicky Hayden.
How did you get into racing?
I’ve been locally racing dirt bikes since I was a little kid. I then got out of it and started street riding after high school and then I started doing track days. As soon as I started doing track days, I knew I wanted to go race in MotoAmerica.
What other racing have you done/do you do?
I’ll do a lot of club racing throughout the season, just to be on a bike and get seat time in. I’m still learning a lot. I want to start racing some hare scrambles on my dirt bike but haven’t gotten around to it yet. Other than that, it’s just local motocross when I was growing up. Outside of MotoAmerica, I mostly race with WERA, and I’ll do a couple CCS rounds here and there.
