MotoAmerica, North America’s premier motorcycle road racing series, is proud to announce that Aprilia will be an official partner of the 2022 Auto Parts 4 Less MotoAmerica Championship.
Aprilia, which is headquartered in Noale, Italy, is a manufacturer that holds 54 World titles (38 in GP, seven in World Superbike, and nine in off-road disciplines). Aprilia produces four sportbike models (RS 660, Tuono 660, RSV4, Tuono V4) and an adventure bike (Tuareg 660). The company races worldwide, including in MotoGP with its RS-GP.
In its debut season in the MotoAmerica series, Aprilia and its RS 660 won the 2021 MotoAmerica Twins Cup Championship with Robem Engineering’s Kaleb De Keyrel winning five races en route to the title. In total, Aprilia RS 660 racers won 10 of the 14 Twins Cup races in 2021.
“Aprilia had a great debut season with its RS 660 in the MotoAmerica Twins Cup Championship and it’s nice to see them come in as a series partner for 2022,” said MotoAmerica COO Chuck Aksland. “Twins Cup has quickly become one of our most competitive classes and something we know Aprilia takes very seriously. The 2022 MotoAmerica Twins Cup Championship gets started with two races at Daytona International Speedway, March 10-12.
