For the 2021 MotoAmerica Superbike season, HSBK Racing, in conjunction with Fast by Ferracci owner Eraldo Ferracci, pulled out all the stops in acquiring a topnotch motorcycle and rider to pursue the Championship. Ducati Corse supplied the team with one of their World Superbike-spec Panigale V4 R racebikes, which was then adapted to meet the slightly different technical rules of the MotoAmerica Superbike Series. They also enlisted the services of world-class talent Loris Baz to pilot the machine. Baz acclimated well to MotoAmerica and got up to speed quickly each race weekend on tracks that were completely unfamiliar to him. It was a tall task for Baz and the team, but they completed the season with nine podium finishes, including five runner-up results, and Baz was fourth in the final rider point standings.
