Calishine Racing’s Aden Thao Set To Compete In 2020 Liqui Moly Junior Cup Championship

Sixteen-year-old Aden Thao, who made his MotoAmerica debut in the Liqui Moly Junior Cup class at Sonoma Raceway last year, will race a Kawasaki Ninja 400 for Calishine Racing in 2020. He and the team plan to compete at all nine rounds of the 2020 Liqui Moly Junior Cup Championship.

Thao, who lives in Fresno, California, is the first member of the Hmong Community (an ethnic sub-group from East and Southeast Asia) to race in the MotoAmerica Series. He also competed in the AMA Road Race Grand Championship held at Barber Motorsports Park this past October where he won the Lightweight Twins Superbike Novice Championship aboard his Calishine Racing Kawasaki.
