Dallas Daniels, who finished third in the 2019 Liqui Moly Junior Cup Championship despite a slightly abbreviated season, will be back aboard a road racer when he competes as a wild card entry in the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship at the final round of the season, October 24-26, at the Losail International Circuit in Doha, Qatar.
According to Daniels, the deal was put together by Estenson Team Manager Tommy Hayden and Keith McCarty, Motorsports Racing Division Manager for Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A.
Daniels will ride a Yamaha YZF-R3 with the competition number 90 on it, and he says, “Everything on the bike will be prepped and ready to go. They’ll have a crew in place, so I just need to show up and ride.” He will travel to Qatar with his father Nick.
Commenting on the opportunity, Daniels said, “I’m thrilled that Tommy and Keith put this deal together for me. I still want to do as much road racing as I can, and to race in the World Supersport 300 Championship is going to be great. I can’t wait.”
