Team Hammer started campaigning Suzuki’s latest version of the GSX-R1000R in 2017’s MotoAmerica Superstock 1000 class. In 2018, the team debuted the #85 M4 ECSTAR Suzuki GSX-R1000 in full MotoAmerica Superbike trim, including a MoTec ECU. The bike features some notable differences from the Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing Superbike, including bodywork that is shaped slightly different and sourced from Hotbodies, as well as a completely different swingarm, and several other components.
