After campaigning a Yamaha YZF-R1 for several years in the MotoAmerica series, beginning in 2019, KWR debuted the Ducati Panigale V4 R. Despite an extremely truncated development calendar, Kyle Wyman and his crew have overcome the limitations of a stock fuel tank that didn’t provide the fuel capacity to comfortably complete a MotoAmerica Superbike race by fabricating their own fuel cell with a bespoke design that features a large, underslung sump that also doubles as a place to display Wyman’s #33 competition number. It is still early days for KWR and their Ducati Superbike, and each passing day adds to their knowledge base and yields more performance gains.
