Scheibe Racing started campaigning the BMW S 1000 RR in MotoAmerica’s Superstock 1000 class in 2015, beginning with the WeatherTech Laguna Seca round. In 2017, the team moved up to the MotoAmerica Superbike class. The 2018 bike features an engine built by Scheibe Racing with a ported cylinder head and BMW Motorsport camshafts. In addition, the bike is equipped with complete Hayes Performance Systems front and rear brakes, which the team helped develop and are now featured as original-equipment components on the 2019 BMW R 1250 GS and S 1000 RR streetbikes.
