The fifth round of the 2019 MotoAmerica Series at the Utah Motorsports Campus featured incredible racing as the series used UMC’s East Course for the first time. With the exception of the Twins Cup race that Alex Dumas won handily, all the races featured closely fought battles. Here’s a look back at some of the action from the lens of Brian J. Nelson.

Cameron Beaubier leads Josh Herrin, Garrett Gerloff, JD Beach, Toni Elias and Mathew Scholtz in the first of two EBC Brakes Superbike races at UMC. Those six fought for the lead for the majority of the race.
Toni Elias got the jump on the rest in the restarted race two and, despite the best efforts of Cameron Beaubier and Garrett Gerloff, the Spaniard was able to take his second win in as many days.
Kyle Wyman gives Mathew Scholtz a lift back to the pits after the South African crashed out of race two. Scholtz was second in race one on Saturday.
Jake Gagne (32) leads Jason Uribe (36) and Dave Anthony (25) in EBC Brakes Superbike action.
Toni Elias celebrates a Father’s Day win with his father.
Hayden Gillim (69) and Bobby Fong (50) went at it in both Supersport races and both came away with victories.
Alex Dumas won his first career Twins Cup race at UMC and he did it in dominating fashion.
Andrew Lee was the class of the field in the Stock 1000 class, with the defending champion winning his second race of the season.
Dallas Daniels (69) won his first Liqui Moly Junior Cup race at UMC on Sunday, besting Saturday winner Rocco Landers.
