Clad in his family’s distinctive team colors, Kaleb De Keyrel was all smiles for his snocross debut on an Arctic Cat sled borrowed from McGuire Racing.

MotoAmerica Supersport racer Kaleb De Keyrel recently made his snocross debut and finished third overall in class.

During the road-racing off-season, De Keyrel has been wrenching part-time for McGuire Racing. At Elk River Extreme Park in Elk River, Minnesota, team owner Mark McGuire decided to put De Keyrel on a stock Arctic Cat Sno Pro to see how he would perform.

Riding in the Novice 600 class, De Keyrel finished second in his first heat and, after missing the start of the second, battled his way to fifth for third overall.

“Super fun night in my first snocross race,” De Keyrel said. “Thanks to Dylan Jansen for the help and McGuire Racing and Elite Motorcoach for the sled. I will keep practicing.”

According to his father, Doug, De Keyrel will move up in class at the next round and hopes to improve his results. “It is going to be fun to see how far he can take it,” the elder De Keyrel said.
