Not as exciting of a post as my last one. First weekend on a new bike, lots of things to work on but a lot of positives too. Weekend started out good with a comfortable first practice session, everything was tight, just minor adjustments needed. Qualifying went better and I went faster than I have in a long time. Took it easy for the final qualifying and was ready for the race. I should have done a few practice starts. I bettered my qualifying time on the 2nd lap but as the race kept going the bike started feeling different and kept getting worse. I thought about pulling it but that get you nowhere. I ended up 6th with a lot of knowledge, some points and a lot of work ahead of me.
I can't thank the people who support me enough. Jim Barry with Barry Brothers Construction, @ridedunlop and their entire crew, Jon Tyus with @ctrsuspensions for the K-Tech suspension, Ron at WCW, Rich for helping out this weekend, Jeff @araiamericas , Will Gawler for an awesome paint job and Chris @drippinwet_dotcom for making it look official, Romney Cycles and of course my wife Aimee. She gave me a 2nd chance at life and doing what I love. Even as an old guy i still feel pretty good out there. #ridedunlop #dunlopnation #motoamerica #vir #stock1000 #wcwracing #barrybrothersconstruction #bigunmotorsports

Photo Recap of Memorial Day Weekend at Summit Point and NJMP

What a great weekend for Big'un Motorsports! Wins, podiums, personal best times and improvements made by all.

Frankie Babuska was right at home, up front in all of his races. Bigs, Tim Bemisderfer, set a personal best time on the Kawi and finished the weekend with a podium. Luigi Mora braved the rain and won! Donny Kelley, always great in the rain, with a podium finish. John Palmer and team won their class of the endurance race at NJMP and Jim Barry and Billy Ethridge wrapped up 2nd in class.

A shout out to Luigi Mora for his first expert win in extremely challenging conditions!

Thank you all for your support and confidence in Big'un Motorsports. We love what we do and couldn't be prouder.
