Roger Hayden had the best year of Superbike racing in his career in 2017. The Yoshimura Suzuki rider didn’t come away with the title, but he was the best of the rest and he was in the battle with his teammate Toni Elias all the way to the end.

Hayden won three times in 2017, a career best, and he ended the season second in the MotoAmerica Motul Superbike Championship. Hayden not only won four times, but he was second eight times – and some of those second-place finishes were painfully close.

Hayden ended the year 88 points behind Elias and 67 points clear of Cameron Beaubier.
