I got to the track early Saturday morning and started to prepare for the practice sessions. As soon as I went out I felt something a little bit off with the front end. Michael S. Castro made some changes throughout the sessions and it started to fall into place. As I went out for my first race I wasn't feeling as fast as i usually do. I was still able to go out there and take an early lead and slowly walk away from the rest of the field.

With the next race early in the morning, we decided to try a little bit of a change to the front end which made a huge difference. I felt much more confident with the bike, and as the race started I dropped my times and started to just run my own race. I was once again able to pull away from the pack. The next race only lasted not even a lap due to a crash in turn 8, causing a red flag. We all found out later that the rider who crashed passed away due to the injuries he had sustained. R.I.P. Jason Blancas. As the race restart began, I once again pulled and early lead but was soon overtaken by Jack Roach Racing. I studied him over the next three laps then took my opportunity to pass him in a spot where I was stronger and built up enough of a lead till the end of the race just to beat him to the line. In the 3rd race of the day F3, I got another early lead. I knew that there were some fast bikes in this race and if I wanted to win then I had to make an early break away while the riders behind me battled. I stretched my lead all the way to the end giving me a decent gap to the line. My last race of the day was 300 World Supersport. As I started this race, i could tell that all I needed to do was run my own race and I would finish the race with a comfortable lead. I ran a smooth race and finished the weekend 5 for 5. I want to thank Jason Edwards, Danny Harrison, and Eric Kondo for all the help and support all weekend long with Eric Kondo Racing. Congrats to the whole team for some great finishes this weekend! #Monkeymoto #AGVSPORT #EricKondoRacing #MarcEdwardsRacing #GpSuspension #Rattlersrockllc #MotionPro #CtRacing #SuomyHelmets #Z2Trackdays #DS53 #barf #BluCru #Spearsracing #Pirelli #CGR #CycleGear #FuziMoto #OxymoronPhotography #AFMRound5
